The Process

The Grammar Studio aims to make the proofreading and editing process clear, straightforward, and professional.

Send a Sample: To begin, please send a short sample of your work (approximately 500 words or two pages) along with the total word count or page length of the full document and your required deadline.

Receive a Quote: After reviewing the sample, you will receive a personalised quote based on the length, complexity, and level of proofreading or editing required.

Proofreading & Editing: Once the work has been confirmed, your document will be carefully reviewed. This includes checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, clarity, and overall readability, while ensuring your original meaning and writing style are preserved.

Receive Two Versions of Your Document: When the proofreading process is complete, you will receive two versions of your document;

A. A marked-up version of the original document showing highlighted suggestions and comments so you can clearly see where improvements have been made.

B. A clean, fully edited version with all corrections applied.

Providing both versions allows you to easily compare the original text with the edited version and understand how your writing has been improved.

Confidentiality

All documents submitted to The Grammar Studio are treated as strictly confidential. Your work will never be shared, distributed, or used for any purpose other than providing the proofreading and editing services requested. Every effort is made to ensure your documents remain private and securely handled at all times.

When contacting The Grammar Studio, please include a sample of approximately 500 words or two pages, the total word count or page length of the full document, and your required deadline.

Once your sample has been reviewed, a quote will be provided based on the length and complexity of your document. Please note that this will be calculated using the standard pricing I have set for each service.

I aim to respond to all quote requests within 24-48 hours, so please keep this time frame in mind when submitting your request and considering your deadline.

If your request is urgent and requires a faster turnaround, this can also be arranged, subject to other project priorities and current workload.
